Mother's Day 2007
We had a lovely Mother's Day. We all went to church. Rich couldn't stand to leave Audrey in the nursery so we took her into church with us. Grandma got to hold her basically the entire service. She even had a bottle during church. When you're hungrey, you gotta eat!
After church my parents, my Uncle Ben, Aunt Karen, my sister Beth and our little family went to Sonny's Bar-B-Q. Yummy! We will probably go back there for Father's Day. Below are some photos Rich took after we got back from eating. We are in our front yard under the magnolia tree.

Everything's going fine
Well, I haven't posted in a while and thought I should catch up some. I had a doctor's appointment today and everything was fine. I have been passing all my tests, including my glucose test. I was really happy about that one since there is diabetes on both sides of my family and I old and over weight. But I passed, the doctor said my blood sugar count has been really good the entire time. I've only gained 7 pounds and that's good too.
She did say the as of right now the baby was breech, but she wasn't going to worry about it unless she is still that way at 35 weeks. I say who wants to be head down for 10 weeks, not me! Hopefully, Audrey will flip around on her own, otherwise we will be begin discussing a c-section. Whatever is best for the baby is fine with me.
Other that battling a cold with all the sneezing and coughing and what happens to pregnant women when they sneeze and cough I have been feeling good. I stayed home from work this week but will be back tomorrow. I didn't think the students wanted me coughing all over their library books!

New picture of Audrey!
I went to the hospital again last Tuesday for a second level two scan. They did get clearer pictures this time and the doctor said everything looked good! Yay. I'm starting to feel her flipping around and moving but nothing really on the outside yet the Rich can feel. I already know she like French onion dip, that got her really moving one night!
Overall everything is going great, starting to get a little uncomfortable sleeping at night, but it's not too bad yet. I just keep plugging along!

GIRL! I went to the hospital to have my level 2 sonogram today. Everything looked fine and lady doing my scan and the doctor said it looked like a girl. I go back in 4 weeks for more scans so they can get a clearer look so hopefully the results will be the same.

Feeling Better
Well, we are into the second trimester and I feel much better. I was really getting tired. Poor Rich would get home at 7:00pm and I was ready to go to sleep. Growing a baby takes a lot out of you! Just a week into the second trimeseter my energy has returned, thank goodness. I went for my regular checkup last Friday and got to hear the baby's heartbeat. Everything is going well.
The change in weather has driven my sinuses (sp?) crazy and I'm trying to stay away from cold medicine as much as possible but I had to break down a couple of times.
I broke down and ordered the bedding for the nursery. It is called Rhyme Time by Lamb and Ivy. You can see a picture of it at http://www.babysupermall.com/main/products/lai/lai68006v.html . It's got blue in it but I think it is still neutral enough if we have a girl. My mom and I are going to go to Babys R Us to start my registry. It's alittle early but will help with Christmas presents. I told Rich he can buy stuff off the registry for me!
